Society of Professional Locksmiths - Product of Value Award

The Society of Professional Locksmiths evaluates, identifies and respectfully recognizes "products of value" and issues a POV Award. This can apply to door hardware, tools, software, services and more. To achieve this recognition, a product must meet a combination of the following criteria.

#1 - It provides a solution to a specific problem
#2 - It is cost effective and provides a return on investment (ROI)
#3 - Demonstrates efficient design and purpose
#4 - Exhibits quality control, good manufacturing practices 
#5 - It is profitable to the locksmith and benefits the consumer

The SOPL assists in providing awareness of these POV Award recipients to the locksmith industry and the consumer. The SOPL believes it is important these products get the attention they deserve. Any product or service that receives the POV Award will be clearly identified by the POV logo and listed prominently on the SOPL website and receive a news blog entry, press release and more.  Locksmiths and consumers need to know what they don't know! There are a lot of cost effective products of value and alternative solutions that can improve your security, safety, time management and lower your operation budgets.

To have your product evaluated for consideration of the POV Award you will need to submit a sample of your product (eg. door hardware, keys, tool, book, software, invention or other items) and provide any documentation regarding its features, specifications or similar. Members of the SOPL will participate in random sampling of your products and provide valuable product tester reviews to contribute towards POV Award status
