This high resolution fiber optic endoscope comes in 13,000 pixels unit and at a lower 7400 pixels. Specifically designed for ear wax removal, but capable of being used in hard to reach spaces. I knew of one locksmith who opened safes using a used endoscope obtained from a proctologist! So owning one designed for removing earwax does't seem so bad!
In 1945, Raymond Deuel with his friend, Gil, founded GilRay Tools. Their partnership was short, but GilRay's reputation was on it's way. By 1960, Ray needed a larger building and built the one we use today at 1306 McGraw St., Bay City, Michigan. The early 1980's brought David Deuel, Ray's son, on the scene. Dave had vision to expand beyond sharpening to manufacturing cutters for the Locksmith industry. Some of our customers have included the well-known FRAMON MANUFACTURING CO. GilRay will restore the cutters to their original print specifications. Of course, the diameters become a few thousandths smaller with each sharpening. They also sharpen Chisels, End Mills, Hole Saws, Spur Bits, and Wood Auger Bits! Dave became very knowledgeable about Key Machines and became a great help to thousands of Locksmiths worldwide Source: http://gilraytools.com/home

KeyNET began as an inspiring idea of possibilities to help the locksmith community obtain repeatable work using a model with fix predictable pricing in the wholesale & retail automotive market. A nationwide network of locksmiths offering services that eliminates scammer gouging and consumer ripoffs was put into play in September of 2012. On September 1st, 2013, one year later KeyNET has evolved into a full blown automotive key generation, transponder programming and product supply service utilizing locksmiths to service clients across the United States with confidence. Many locksmiths who signed up early received select territories and did a great job helping to make it reality. There were ups and downs, growing pains and some disappointments, but that is all part of growth and we all know that Rome was not built in a day. To develop a program of this magnitude in just 1 year along with credible training resources is a huge undertaking and accomplishment. Currently KeyNET services over 4000 wholesale & retail locations in the United States and locksmiths are getting access to certain markets and clients they may not have had before, or found themselves replaced or locked out of. Unlike lead generation companies, KeyNET actually provides the physical work generated by contracted clients seeking service and pays the locksmiths directly without any fees to register or kick back per call. The Society of Professional Locksmiths has worked tirelessly to monitor, develop and deploy this new model along with the Vehicle Security Technician (VST) training. By providing input on behalf of its members and the locksmith community at large. the SOPL believes it is an alternative for many locksmiths to create a new way of doing business or add a bonafide income stream into their existing businesses. Fixed predictable pricing with approved exceptions is an attractive solutions for both the locksmith and the consumers to eliminate the current phenomenon of scam activities. Now KeyNET is helping to deliver quality equipment and supplies to save you money and increase your bottom line. From key blanks to a complete business start-up package, KeyNET has all you need to succeed at prices and financing you can afford. KeyNET.com is opening its doors and it's not just going to be automotive! KeyNET - "Your single source, one stop service and supply network powered by real locksmiths" See for yourself - http://www.sopl.us/keynet.html Locksmiths who jumped on board early were provided a host of benefits and these bennies have been extended at the request of the SOPL. KeyNET has that too! If you are interested in a micro business, start up business or creating a fleet, KeyNET will get you setup and then provide you actual work. This is not a franchise, it is a business start-up opportunity that you own! The ILCO 008 Mini Might key machine is a nice starter machine and here is a tip on how to get the most out of it!
You can convert the ILCO 008 Mini Mite Key Machine to act as a code cutting machine. This simple conversion can allow you to both duplicate and use space and depth keys for the purpose of cutting code keys. It is a very good starting point for beginners since it is cost effective and easily transported. The ILCO 008 uses a 1/2" diameter shaft and typically comes with a 23RF cutter blade. Replace the 23RF with a 37MC. This is considered a "compromise" cutter blade that will provide a 45 degree angle with a .25 flat. All you need to do is to obtain some basic space and depth keys and your all set. This is a great conversion if your doing a lot of cam lock key generation, impressioning, or decoding cylinders. Simple and effective. You will earn money to ultimately upgrade to a full fledged code machine. Jet just introduced a very nice micro machine which I really like called a JT-9000. According to Marc Auerbach, VP of Marketing at Jet, the JT-9000 also has a 1/2" diameter shaft but has not been tested to see if it would accommodate the 37MC. If the Ilco 008 is any indication of the possibilities, I would suspect that the JT-9000 will be capable and will find itself as the top contender in the micro machine arena.. |
