Key Generation -
Learn all about the core basics of key generation for both commercial and automotive keys. Course covers wafer reading, key reading, lock decoding, impressioning, tryout keys, progression charts and their proper use, decoding tools and other advanced methods. Identify the proper resources and how to interpret them. Learn about common and high security tumbler components, how they affect key generation. You will learn about proper inspection and Parallax Error, light sources, files, keyblank preparation, key codes, spacing & depths, MACS, angles, key machines, and mathematical computations related to key cuts. Generation of Automotive Transponder Keys, cloning, and chipping will also be included. Safe Manipulation -
Become a Safecracker! Learn the mystery of opening a safe by manipulation in this exciting hands on class with the World Champion Safecracker Jeff Sitar. This is an extremely lucrative field and this course uses the Sentry Safe as a "prop model" to practice the hands on "core knowledge" in a simplified format that involves all safe manipulation. Learn about wheels, wheel packs, flys, pickup points, contact points, dial rotation, graphing, amplifying, drill points and a lot more. Group 2 Locks will also be presented with parts description and combination changing procedures. This resource eliminates any intimidation when examining and presenting the complex field of safe manipulation. By the end of this class you will have manipulated your first safe! Advanced Masterkeying - Putting It All Together
This class gets to the "nuts and bolts" of Masterkeying. Because there is more to masterkeying than just using software or cutting keys, this class will dissect the masterkey/changekey matrix to discover the hidden secrets. The knowledge gained will provide the locksmith with the ability to accurately determine the results of customer requirements. This is a comprehensive course under the direct instruction of Harvey Arkawy, formerly of Lockheed Martin. When you have completed this lesson, you should be able to recognize and utilize "Ghost" keys, Page Masterkeying, Rotating Constants and Maison Masterkeying, understand floor plans, matrix setups and customer requirements. The student will use the knowledge they've gained to create a system or systems where everyone uses one key to access the area(s) they require or know why the customer's requirements can not be accomplished. Jeff Sitar
Internationally recognized as the World Champion Safecracker, Jeff has won 8 International Safecracking competitions - a feat unmatched in the history of these contests. His work has been the subject of articles in Time Magazine, Maxim, Mens health, FHM, Mass Appeal, Bikini, Bottom Line Personnel and Sly Magazine. He has also been featured on "CNN", Z100, WPLJ, Rocky Allen Show, "Good Morning America", "The Today Show" and the Discovery Channel show "More Than Human."
Tom Seroogy
Nationally recognized automotive authority and automotive forensic locksmith, Tom was the founder of the original PUREAuto training program and has worked with All Lock BWD, Strattec, and many other automotive specialty companies. As past editor of the National Locksmiths magazine he has authored numerous industry articles and instructional manuals. He has been accredited with building the SDRM model for the NASTF and continues to provide industry support in the field of forensics.
Harvey Arkawy
As a Locksmith for more than 35 years, he owned and operated a successful Locksmith business. After selling his business in 1985, he went to work as an Industrial Locksmith for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Harvey specialized in Master Keying as well as Electronic Access. He received his Federal GSA Inspector's Certificate in 2003 from MBA. Well known for writing and selling Locksmith software since 1980, he has been teaching Master Keying since 1994. He retired from Lockheed in January 2006. Harvey is the program administrator for the The Security Technical Institute (STI) and serves on several advisory panels with the Society of Professional Locksmiths.
Tom Lynch
Professional locksmith, inventor, author, contributing technical writer and instructor, Tom has participated in many aspects of the trade and brings a fresh perspective to the industry as Founder of the Society of Professional Locksmith, Lock Radio and the Security Technical Institute. He has instructed for NYC Police Academy, HPC, Mul-T-Lock USA, Lockmaster, American Auto Lock, Mark Bates, Sharpe Communications and was part of the original PUREAUTO instructors.
